Full Tilt Travel ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's used.
What we collect
When you sign up for our email list or complete the Luggage Quiz, we collect the email address you provide. If you take the Luggage Quiz, we also generate a summary of your results (your matches, scores and runners-up) so we can send them to you by email, and we record whether you asked for book updates.
Legal basis for processing
Book updates and launch news: we send these only with your consent, given when you join our email list or tick the optional book-updates box on the Luggage Quiz. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing from any email we send.
Quiz results: when you complete the Luggage Quiz and enter your email, we use it to send you the results you asked for. If you don't tick the book-updates box, your results email is the only email you'll receive from us.
How we use it
If you joined our email list or ticked the book-updates box on the quiz, we use your email address to send you updates about the book Navigating the Galaxy of Packing Light, including launch news. If you took the quiz, we use it to send your personalized results. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you complete the Luggage Quiz, your quiz answers are scored to generate a personalized summary. This summary is sent to you via email and stored in MailerLite for reference. The underlying quiz responses are not retained after the summary email is sent.
Third-party services
We use MailerLite to manage our email list and send emails. When you sign up or take the quiz, your information is stored with MailerLite, which processes it on our behalf under its own privacy and security practices. Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may process limited technical data as part of font delivery. Google Fonts operates under Google's privacy practices.
Our site is hosted by Hostinger, which processes server logs (including IP address and browser type) as part of normal web hosting operations. You can review Hostinger's privacy policy at hostinger.com/privacy-policy.
Data retention
We retain your email address for as long as you're subscribed to our list. If you unsubscribe, your data is deleted from MailerLite within 30 days. Quiz summaries are retained in MailerLite to power your results email and retained thereafter unless you request deletion.
Your data rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Request access: You can ask for a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Correct information: You can ask us to fix any inaccurate data.
- Request deletion: You can ask us to delete your data (subject to legal obligations).
- Export your data: You can request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Object to processing: You can ask us to stop processing your data in certain contexts.
- Withdraw consent: You can unsubscribe from our email list at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
